The NoNap Podcast
About the Project
Inspired by the strange year of 2020 and my own honorary nieces and nephews, I wanted to create a special kids’ audio fiction special for parents and children that are seeking Halloween celebration alternatives to trick or treating (as in many cities it has been cancelled). I presented the idea to several horror writers and sought submissions. Originally conceived as a half hour special, the project quickly grew into its own “podcast” as many writers were inspired to submit and write stories specifically for the event. With a good selection of stories, voice actors, sound designers, artists and music makers all excitedly jumped in on the project as well. Finally, the illustrious David Cummings also gave his blessing to use a name that pays homage to the top horror podcast and the creative inspiration behind the project – The NoSleep Podcast.
I encourage you to support, patronize, hire, etc. the creators that volunteered their time and effort for this project. Their information is provided below for ease.
Thank you listeners! Thank you kids! And thank you creators!
♥Erin
How To Listen
The podcast can be enjoyed as one continuous show by starting with episode 1 and continuing until the final episode in your podcatcher of choice. Alternatively, each story is broken into one episode and the suggested age range for each episode’s story is in the title. Parents and guardians, it is recommended that you either pre-listen to the stories or review the spoiler included in the episode’s show notes to decide whether or not the story is appropriate for your children.
We have made our best efforts to be inclusive of race, gender and sexual orientation where possible as our team of creators includes many races, genders and sexual orientations however those topics are not the central element in any story. The stories are themed around Halloween, mild horror and, in some cases, death and the paranormal. Regarding accessibility, where possible, story transcripts will be included but in most cases, the stories themselves will not be available as text on this site as the authors retain the written rights.

How To Support the Show
This show is a gift to you and your loved ones. We are not asking for support. However, many people have asked how they can contribute. The best way to do so is by supporting the contributors. Buy their books, art and music. Listen to their shows. Follow them on social media. I have done my best to gather information from everyone as to just how you can support them best – please check that out below in the Contributors section.
I have also set up a “Buy Me a Coffee” page here for anyone that just wants to throw some money in a hat to say thank you. I will do my best to distribute anything donated there as fairly as possible. And I also have a Ko.fi page if you’d just like to thank me for putting it all together. http://ko-fi.com/ravenwolfprods
